Installing

1. Download the installer.
2. Run it. Windows will probably show a "Windows protected your PC" warning because Label Bridge isn't code-signed yet. Click More info, then Run anyway. Why this happens.
3. Follow the installer. It adds Label Bridge's virtual printers to Windows.
4. Open Label Bridge and choose which of your printers is the 4x6 label printer.

If you'd rather not run an installer, use the portable zip. Unzip it somewhere permanent, such as a folder in Documents, and run Label Bridge from there.

Printing your first label

1. Open the label the way you normally would: eBay, PayPal, a PDF from a supplier, and so on.
2. Choose Print, and pick the Label Bridge printer instead of your normal one.
3. Print. The label is found, straightened, scaled to 4x6 and sent to your label printer.

Leave the paper size as it is. Label Bridge handles the conversion, so there's no need to set 4x6 anywhere else.

Entering your licence key

After you buy, your licence key arrives by email. It's registered to the name and email address you bought with.

1. Open Label Bridge.
2. Choose Enter licence.
3. Paste in the whole key from your email and confirm.

The key is checked on your PC, and no internet connection is needed. It isn't tied to one computer.

Keys are currently sent by hand, so it can take a few hours, occasionally up to a day. Your trial keeps running while you wait. If it's been longer than that, get in touch.

A label was held for review

Label Bridge checks that the barcode on every label can be read before it prints. If it can't read the barcode, it doesn't print the label. It keeps it back and tells you. A label a carrier can't scan can get your parcel rejected, and holding it back also saves you a label.

Common causes, and what to do:

• Low-quality scan or photo. Rescan or re-download the original label at a higher quality and print it again.
• The file is only a packing slip or a page with no label on it. If you meant to print it as it is, send it to a folder that has whole-page mode turned on.
• The barcode is damaged or cut off in the original. Get a fresh copy from wherever the label came from.

If the label looks fine to you and still gets held, please send it to us. That's exactly the kind of case we want to fix.

Printing from your phone

Label Bridge can watch a folder and print anything saved into it. If that folder is synced with OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox, you can save a label to it from your phone and it prints on your PC at home.

1. Make a folder inside your OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox folder on your PC.
2. Add it as a watched folder in Label Bridge.
3. On your phone, save or share a label PDF into that folder.

Label Bridge doesn't ask for your cloud login. It uses the sync app you already have on your PC.

It helps to include:

• What you printed from (eBay, a supplier PDF, and so on)
• Your label printer model
• If a label printed wrongly or was held, the original file. Please remove anything you'd rather not share first.
